Chemistry (9th-12th)

This high school Chemistry course offers a thorough and engaging lab-based curriculum designed specifically for homeschool students. Using Chemistry: The Study of Matter from a Christian Worldview by Master Books, the course integrates scientific exploration with a biblical perspective, equipping students for both academic excellence and spiritual grounding.

Course Highlights:

  • Faith-Based Science Instruction:
Rooted in a Christian worldview, this course not only teaches chemistry principles but also encourages students to explore how the structure and behavior of matter reflect God’s design.
  • Comprehensive Curriculum:
The course spans 28 short, highly readable chapters, each paired with a practical hands-on lab, engaging students with full-color illustrations, clear lesson objectives, and a focus on real-world applications.
  • Lab-Based Learning:
Students will conduct frequent experiments using household and accessible lab materials. Each lab includes a detailed lab report for developing scientific inquiry and documentation skills.
  • Structured Weekly Schedule:
Designed for a five-day-a-week pace, the curriculum provides a full academic year of instruction, complete with worksheets, quizzes, exams, and grading guidance from the Teacher Guide.
  • College Prep Readiness:
While accessible to all high school students, the depth of material is appropriate preparation for students interested in pursuing STEM majors in college.
  • Instructor Support:
The Teacher Guide provides daily instructions, answer keys, lab report grading support, and a visual supply list for easy planning and execution of labs.
