The Arts & Crafts Club is an open, all-ages creative space offered every Monday and Thursday during regular co-op hours in the Student Education Center. Whether you're a curious kindergartner or an experienced teen artist, there's something for everyone in this hands-on enrichment club.
Club Highlights:
- Multi-Age Creative Projects:
Younger students might explore painting, paper crafts, beading, or seasonal projects using safe, tactile materials. Older students can dive into more advanced techniques like mixed-media art, fabric and textile crafts, wire sculpture, woodworking, and polymer clay modeling. - Creative Expression & Skill Building:
Each session encourages creativity and fine motor development while also building patience, attention to detail, and artistic confidence. - Theme or Freestyle Options:
Students are welcome to follow their own creative direction or join in on suggested themes such as seasonal crafts, school spirit, faith-based artwork, literary-inspired pieces, nature-themed projects, service-focused creations, upcycled art, and holiday décor. - Student Showcase Opportunities:
Throughout the year, selected works will be displayed in the Student Education Center to celebrate and share students’ artistic growth with the co-op community. - Drop-In Friendly:
Come for a full hour or just a few minutes—flexibility is built into the club’s structure. Students may participate during any free periods throughout the day on Mondays and Thursdays. - Led by Creative Volunteers:
Instructors and parent volunteers guide activities, offer demonstrations, and help students discover new skills and materials each week.
The Arts & Crafts Club is a relaxing and enriching break from traditional academics—perfect for students who want to unwind and explore their creativity in a supportive, multi-age environment.
