Little House on the Prairie (3rd-5th)

In this engaging course, students will read Little House in the Big Woods and Little House on the Prairie while exploring themes of resilience, family, community, and simplicity in the American Midwest.

Course Highlights:

    Enjoy guided reading and discussion of two beloved books in the "Little House" series, with a focus on character development, historical setting, and family values.
  • Pioneer Crafts & Activities:
    Students will try their hands at pioneer-era skills such as sewing, butter churning, simple woodworking, and traditional games.
  • Nature Study:
    Through outdoor observations and journaling, students will connect with the natural world just as the Ingalls family did in the woods and prairies.
  • Themes of Resilience:
    Weekly discussions will highlight themes of courage, gratitude, hard work, and faith in the face of changing circumstances.
  • Hands-On & Multisensory:
    This class blends reading, crafting, storytelling, and exploration to create an immersive learning experience for elementary-aged students.
