This course deepens students' language proficiency while cultivating an understanding of and appreciation for the diversity of the Spanish-speaking world. Delivered through the Wayside Learning Site, this interactive and immersive course equips students with the skills to communicate confidently in Spanish and reflect meaningfully on cultural contexts.

By the end of this course, students will demonstrate intermediate-low to intermediate-mid proficiency in Spanish and a broadened cultural awareness through exploration of global themes, identity, and community. Students must have successfully completed Spanish 1 or demonstrate equivalent knowledge through a placement assessment.
