High School Art (9th-12th)

This drawing class takes students on a journey through various drawing techniques, exploring a range of subjects including people, objects, landscapes, and abstract forms. As the year progresses, we will introduce elements of color and experiment with different mediums to enrich our artistic expressions. Students are encouraged to try each medium to discover which inspires their creativity the most.

    Begin the class by learning different drawing techniques to capture various subjects like people, objects, and landscapes.
  • Incorporating Color:
    Add elements of color to the work, experimenting with various mediums to enhance creativity.
  • Personal Artistic Growth:
    Encourage each student to find their unique artistic style, empowering them to pursue their passion for art.

This course aims to cultivate a love for art, enabling students to boldly explore their creativity and artistic expression.

Since West Salem has NEVER CHARGED for the use of their facility (i.e. no rent, utilities, water, internet, or paper product fees; ONLY a nominal cleaning fee), there will be no facility or maintenance fees required. In order to respect your time and resources, we plan to offer regular lunches for a small charge with all proceeds going to West Salem Baptist Church as our love offering to them for such a generous gift.
